The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our staff's training, professional credentials and work experience.

Leon Nitkin MD
Dr. Leon Nitkin has been in private practice over 20 years. He graduated from Downstate Medical School in 1987 and has been board certified since 1989. Dr. Nitkin has a broad scope of practice from family planning to Gynecological Cosmetic Surgery.

Hillary Brenner D.P.M
Dr. Hillary Brenner is a podiatric surgeon practicing in New York City. She is an authority on foot health issues including plantar fasciitis, heel pain, hammer toe deformities and bunions. She has received extensive training in cutting-edge foot care technologies such as shock wave therapy, which is often used to help treat and alleviate pain involving the plantar fascia.

Dr. Hillary Brenner studied biology at Richard Stockton College in Pomona, NJ where she received a bachelor of science degree. She later attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2002 where she was conferred the Doctorate degree of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) and graduated with honors. Dr. Brenner went on to complete a three year surgical residency specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive foot surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Currently Dr. Brenner is an attending physician at Fifth Avenue Surgery Center, Beth Israel Medical Center, Grammercy, and Devonshire Surgical Facility.

Aside from being in private practice, Dr. Brenner is a spokesperson for the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).

In addition she is a member of the executive board for the New York State Podiatric Medical Association (NYSPMA), Manhattan division.

Mitchell Kahn DC
Dr. Mitchell Kahn studied business management at Baruch College in New York City. He graduated from Los Angeles Chiropractic College in 1993. In addition to being a chiropractor, Dr. Kahn is a licensed nutritionist who specializes in weight loss.

Nelly Cohen MD
Dr. Nelly Cohen is board certified in Internal Medicine she is an attending physician at Beth Israel Hospital and New York Downtown Hospital. Dr. Cohen specializes in treatment for diabetes and hypertension. She enjoys attending cultural events including the arts and community service involvement.
